LEGAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective Date: September 3, 2026
Welcome to MortonArtAdvisory.com (the "Site"), owned and operated by Morton Art Advisory, LLC ("Morton Art Advisory," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Site and the art advisory, consulting, and related services we provide. By using this Site or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
1. About Our Services
Morton Art Advisory provides art consulting and advisory services — including collection curation, art acquisition, custom commissions, and installation project management — for corporate, hospitality, institutional, and residential clients. Services are engaged directly with our team and are not sold through an online shopping cart or checkout on this Site. Scope, pricing, and payment terms for any engagement are set out in a separate agreement or invoice between Morton Art Advisory and the client.
2. Legal Disclosures

3. Custom Commissions & Art Procurement
When Morton Art Advisory sources, procures, or commissions artwork on a client's behalf as part of an engagement, the terms of that transaction (pricing, payment, delivery, risk of loss, and any return or defect policy) are set out in the client's individual agreement or invoice, not by a standardized online sale process. Please refer to your engagement agreement for these terms, or contact us directly with questions.
4. Copyright & Intellectual Property
Artists retain copyright in their own works. Content on this Site — including images, text, and design — is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws and belongs to Morton Art Advisory and/or the respective artists. No content may be reproduced, distributed, or adapted without prior written permission from Morton Art Advisory and, where applicable, the artist.
5. Website Use
You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or misuse any content found on it. We reserve the right to restrict access to the Site for any user who violates these terms.
6. No Guarantee of Value; Assumption of Risk
Art advisory and curation involve subjective, aesthetic judgment. Morton Art Advisory does not guarantee the future value, resale value, investment return, authenticity representations beyond those provided by the originating artist or gallery, or market performance of any artwork sourced, curated, or recommended through our services. Clients acknowledge that acquiring art involves inherent risk and that recommendations are provided based on professional judgment, not as investment or financial advice.
7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Information on this Site is provided for general informational purposes and, while we strive for accuracy, is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Morton Art Advisory shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of this Site or our services. This section does not limit any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Morton Art Advisory, LLC, its members, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of this Site or breach of these terms.
9. Force Majeure
Morton Art Advisory shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, labor disputes, shipping or transportation disruptions, or other events of force majeure.
10. Confidentiality
Information you provide to us through this Site or in the course of an engagement will be handled in accordance with our privacy practices. You may request access to, correction of, or removal of your information by emailing Debbie@mortoncontemporary.com.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Pennsylvania.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
